I purchased one of them from Arturo Fuente, Jr. last time I visited Ybor City in June. I went to visit his store and BAM! There he was. Super guy, very cordial.

He didn't have the Hemingways I was searching for, so he suggested the Anejo. It's still in my humidor awaitng the magic moment. (I hope it's better than my first (and last) Opus 😵. Then again, any maduro Fuente is a keeper!

Nice catch! I hope you got a good price. My local has a box, but at $18 a piece, he can keep 'em.

Yeah they were $11.85 each. About the cheapest place i have found. He has 50s in as well for $9.XX.

I recently did a box split with someone here (who shall remain nameless) that he paid $210 ...

... so I got 12 of them beauties for around $8.40 (plus shipping) each ... 😉

BTW, just for the record ... MSRP is $9 on the Anejo 55's ...

Sweet! That's pretty good for CA prices/taxes. Slim scored big, but I'll the other end of the split was outta state. Last year I picked up a box of sharks, #46 and #50 in AZ for $200 each. Now, nothing 😞

I don't know why I assumed Orange County. Maybe because of all the time I spent there. At any rate, very nice snag! You'll love 'em. The #55 tastes way better than the #50 IMHO.

Yeah 55s are great. Personally i think they are better then sharks *gasp* 😃

I've got plenty of the other sizes too so thats why i didn't pick up the 50s. The only thing i don't have and can't ever find are 49s. Some day though i'm sure i'll find them.
