Where's the beef? It's at a Pennsylvania pub that serves the world's biggest burger - weighing in at NINE lip-smacking pounds!

That's no whopper - you can actually get this meat monster for $23.95, load with all the "fixins"...

Two whole tomatoes
A half-head of lettuce
12 slices of American cheese
A full cup of peppers
Two entire onions
Plus, a river a mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.

No One has ever finished one!

Ugh. Makes me sick just looking at it. Tried a 1kg burger in Bahrain - I couldn't finish it, and it messed up my innards for 3 days.

It is the "Ole 96er" The Pattie is 6 pounds and everything else takes it up to 9.

I tried the 2 pounder and could only eat about 1/2 of it. You eat it with your hands, no silverware allowed!

Some 98 pound girl ate the 2 pounder in 32 min and the 3 pounder in 58 (from what I can remember) As far as I know nobody has finisher the 96er in the 3 hour time limit yet.

There's something about "burger" and "Bahrain" that should never be placed in the same sentence.

Part of the reason I won't eat sushi in the midwest.

Ginny's diner here in Louisville has something similar. The hamburger itself is 2lb. It probably weighs 5 or 6 lb. dressed with a bun. The burger is free if you can eat all of it in one sitting.

That's good to know 'cause I'm on Adkins, and could cut out that 3 lbs. of nasty carbs!

wjmiskelly - I'm familiar with the place! The Warbler in the ground floor of some hotel right around the corner from the Hard Rock Cafe- Bahrain! I paid for my Warbler polo shirt, but I DID watch a YN1 put that whole "All American Burger" away! weight 1 kilo before cooking (2.2lb.) they advertise all their beef is imported from England, no camel meat! (transplanted Irish bar)
