Ok, let's get this puppy planned. So far it seems everyone agrees that the Federal Grill in Allentown, PA is a good location. Let's put some possible dates out on the table.

I vote for Saturday, September 4th.

Probably not a great idea considering it's Labor Day weekend and the majority of us will liekly be out of town or already have plans.

9/11

9/18

9/25

All of these dates are open though... We'll also need time for everyone to check calendars, get permission from wives (he, he, he,), etc. And no, I'm not married.

Pfft...define married.

Since Lowman has decided to reply by email rather than the forum (!!), I'll state that September 4th may be difficult for certain individuals. So, I will propose September 18th.

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I'm on vacation that week. 9/25 is the first September date that's good for me.

Any weekend but Labor day weekend sounds good to me. Does it have to be on a weekend?

LOL @ Steve... I answered you thru email before I went back to check this thread...

I'm sure you'll take good care of my Italia until we meet...

Oh, yea... we're gonna smoke lots of cigars at the herf... (that's was to make sure that this belongs on the C&R board )

Hey now. It's a herf. What's a herf without cigars? Keyword '& Related'!

Weekends work best. Ever since we had the pull-out beds installed under our desks, us CBID employees don't see the outside world during the week. But, on the weekends we are allowed to leave to get laundry done, herf, food shopping, etc.

Plus, a Saturday will allow for the most herf-time. Once you see the pieces of chocolate cake served at this place, you'll definitely agree that more time is a good thing.

I am busy every Saturday in August/September...

But if this CrossCountry Carpool actually happens, I may have to find a way to get there. (Just the idea of the stories that will be told...)

Sorry Marke. This herf is only for people that don't call off sick from work. Guess you didn't get the memo. We'll have another copy on your desk tomorrow. 😉

I finally got around to reading my mail and looking at the boards. I guess any Saturday is good for me in Sept. and Oct.

Trish, I need to speak with you. If I don't get to you first, please call me ASAP.

Bobby,

Thank you again for the ERDM. I smoked it on Sunday at MusikFest. That's the last time I listen to someone else's review! I'd been told that they were really strong and that's just not how it was for me. I really enjoyed it. Guess that's why it's so popular, huh??? LOL

Thank you again for the gift!

I just got up from my pull out bed Steve was talking about and saw the A-town Herf message. I'll be busy all September but would love to find time to do it up. Keep us updated, of course.

You get tickets to see the Bo-Sox playing in October, and I'll definitely consider it!
