Well it’s obvious it’s because of a vast rightwing conspiracy to manipulate the polls… or was it that no one still knows what Kerry’s plan is even after the convention.

In all seriousness though, I don’t expect much of a jump after the Republican convention either. I believe most people have made up their mind, and those who haven’t will make up their mind just days before the polls open.

There are those who hate Bush’s aggressive stance on terrorism, and then there are those who are terrified of Kerry’s non-existent plan to keep them safe. There are those who believe the economy sucks and Bush is to blame, and then there are those who believe the dot.com bust and 9-11 are to blame. There are those who believe that poverty is a result of Bush’s cold heart, and then there are those who see Kerry creating even more of an enabling society… creating more poverty. There are those who believe America needs to relinquish control of its military to improve international relations, and then there are those that believe America has a right to defend itself with or without permission.

The question is, which one of these two extremes will the undecided go too when the polls open. The bottom line is… who will keep you safe (safer) from terror.
