....and was not enthused. It was the Acid Blondie. The aroma was 'different'. It kinda reminded me of the facial skin cleansing astringent in my medicine cabinet. The draw was good and burn ok. The smell while it burned was kind of odd. Odd is the only word I can think of for these cigars. Left a weird sensation in my lungs. It is definately not like smoking a regular cigar. I think I'll pass on those for now on. I'm not one for flavored or scented cigars but just had to try one. I for one did not like it so will stick with my regular smokes and maybe explore some more of those CAO flavors! (And IMHO those Acid cigars are wayyyyyyy overpriced for what you get.)

I get sick when i smoke any ACID's now. But i started on those things. Funny how your taste can change so much. But i will ALWAYS love the Clean Robusto's by Drew. You should give them a try. They a from the Natural line. No aromatic smell.

I've had the cold tea infusion and the 1400cc and they were both great. The tea one especially just like drinking a snapple ice tea. Whereas I have smoked a few crummy cigars from all of the major factories, I don't think that I have had a bad experience with a drew estate cigar. They aren't the greatest things ever but they are solid and a regular in my lineup.

I'm afraid of the ACID Kuba Kuba in my humi (TIGHTLY CELLO-ED!!!) Smells like the clove cigarettes I used to break apart and smoke in my waterpipe (20+ years ago) and fall down and vomit. But I *am* curious about it sitting there..

"Left a weird sensation in my lungs"

Don't inhale the smoke. Just hold it in your mouth. Swish it around, enjoy the flavor. They are much more enjoyable that way.

Didn't intentionally inhale. (Never do.) Was holding the fishing pole with both hands and held the cigar in between my lips. Accidentally inhaled a couple puffs. You don't do that twice with those cigars! Also, we always get some second hand smoke inhaled in our lungs when smoking cigars.

you know, i tried a clean robusto once . . . once. i couldn't finish the damn thing. it tasted like one of those drugstore cigars with a vanilla-flavored tip. the draw was nice and the aroma was pleasant. i just couldn't take the overwhelming flavor of the wrapper in my mouth. i've decided to avoid drew estates since then.

I tried the Kuba. Tasted like a swisher sweet. I don't go for sugar on my cigars.

I've got a customer on my route that smokes Don Pablos. He swears they are the greatest cigar in the world. He gifted me one a few weeks ago. It had a sugary sweet tip & tasted like crap!

I guess I sound ungrateful. I appreciated the sentiment, but didn't realize he smoked enhanced cigars.

Have smoked a few Acids that were a nice changeup cigar.

well, schmitty, i'd gladly send you some, but i don't buy any. i like a slightly spicy wrapper, but not a sweet one. the exodus 1959 has a decent amount of spice, and on occasion a trilogy native cammy does too. to me, that's a good tasty wrapper. oh yeah, the gurkha class regent's pretty decent in that department, too.

i've read that there are some drew estates gars that taste like chocolate. that sounds very interesting to me. i'd like to try one of those. i just don't remember which ones do. also, it seems that i've heard/read that about an acid gar and a natural gar. which one tastes more like chocolate? anybody know?

Drew Estates Natural "Root" is the one I really like and think it has a mocha taste to it, secondly would be the "Clean Robusto and Dirt" both very good, the "Jucy Lucy" is to small for me and the "PimpSticks" and "GreenHero" are just to plain and mild for my liking. I,ve also had one each of the Elixir 5-50 and China 5, if I remember correctly they were pretty good also. This is just MHO. Your taste may vary.
