I cut the cello open at both ends and leave cello on for protection. Air and Moisture can flow througyh both open ends.
Hope this solves the cello on/cello off question of the Millenium

That sounds like a good idea....best of both worlds.

Cello is actually a porous material made of wood that air and moisture can pass through. The holes shouldn't be necessary, as the cellophane doesn't hinder or benefit the aging/humidifying process. But, I definitely agree with the protection aspect.

Here's another one for those of you who cannot decide, how about....remove the cello unless it's yello.....thereby maintaining any sticks' aged environment ?

This is how they are stored by us, as well as by the manufacturer. Just like cello, it will not hinder or benefit the aging process.
