I know that PI's have gotten a pretty bad reputation on this board, but has anyone tried one lately? Maybe Mine just aged well, but I lit one up yesterday, and it was great!

My gut tells me there are a lot of PI smokers who won't come out of the closet!! That's okay. If ya got a few you can't seem to choke down, I'll take'em off your hands.

I haven't had one in a long time.

I think there are a few that have been "aging" on the bottom of the tupperdor for a couple of years.

I've never smoked a bad frog but I imagine it can't be much worse than a PI.

Never smoked a Reyes cigar that I would want to smoke again. His cigars all have a signature "sour dirt" flavor to me.

What bonedead1 said above is exactly my feelings....don't worry camper, nobody is gonna bid against you that has any taste at all.

I admit I have enjoyed a few Special Aged Pyramides in the past.

I've mentioned this before...I have some double maduros in a fairly skinny vitola...they are actually pretty good.

I wasn't a fan of the old green lable PI either. Then I tried a couple of the new Reyes Family Premiere and they are actually really good. It would appear that the new blood that took over the company last year is bringing in some new blends that are very good.

I just smoked and handed a few of these out a couple weeks ago.. still got plenty of these in storage.. and I still enjoy one on occassions...

I originally enjoyed the PI's. Then I had a few of the sour dirt models and steered clear for a while. The special aged pyramid in the burlap bag tasted just like the burlap bag. Poor marketing if you ask me. I would need to be gifted one to try and enjoy before I spent any clink on them again. A large disappointment.
