these are some left over fighter aircraft the Russians Vacated and left behing in Afganistan after their defeat in the 80's....

Methinks I see a Mig-21. X

At least 2 Mig 21's. Man...a couple of million would refurbish a nice little stash of mach jets.

I think the silver one is a Beagle.

Any experts out there? I think definitely 2-3 Mig 21's, maybe an SU17.

I'd really be surprised if any of the internal guts of these aircraft are still in tact. People will steal anything. I'm sure you could have got a pretty price for some of the electronic equipment in those things...provided the Russians didnt trash them before they left.

The Russians didn't have time to trash them.. and the Afgan folks pretty much didn't trash them as far as the cockpits.. but when Americans got into this base.. they were pretty much gutted for war relics...
