I smoked one from a 5 pack and was disappointed. Yet my friend who likes strong cigars said that his was great except that it unraveled. Maybe they need to set for awhile, but why if they've been in the Dunhill warehouse for "years". Any opinions?

Were you disappointed in the taste? If so, there is a chance the blend just doesn't match your palate, which unfortunately is the nature of the beast in this game. Or, was it a quality issue? If so, we'd be more than happy to assist you if you're not fully satisfied, just send us an email or call customer service at 1-800-830-4590. We'll be back in the office on Monday.

Thanks Steve. It was the taste. I guess I was expecting something stronger. We smoked 2 already, so I don't want a return or such. I've been watching these on CBID for quite awhile, and I was considering getting a box for my fishing buddies. They are now smoking medium to full cigars. So these looked perfect. That's why I did this post - thinking that perhaps I smoked one too soon or something.

SteveR,

Wow, awesome customer service. Can't think of anything else to say, except that post goes a long way with me (FWIW).

I won some Punch VRIII's a while back and with about six months in the humi the flavor was much better. What a great smoke.

Hey, that's what I needed to hear. What I can't understand is how cigars get better in your personal humi when they've been sitting in decent conditions for years (in this case). Yet everyone agrees that they do get better.

Sounds like more of an issue of humidity stabilization than aging. I've noticed some cigars will vary quite a bit in flavor not just draw/burn with varying humidity.
