I guess we are pretty much even then Jon, except I find you more amusing with your narrow, simplistic, pinhead view points. If you can push the blinders in a little more you won't see anything and then nothing will disturb you. Just in case I can get you a Tommy kit but you'll have to supply your own machine.

Ease up, people.

I think it's a hysterical illustration of how careless some parents are when talking to/in front of their children. My wife and I avoid any kind of foul language around our boys.

In the Air Force, I served with and respected all members of the military including the Navy. I still respect them all. In fact, I now respect them all more than ever. This is just a little humor pointing out a Marine's view of the Navy. Relax, and go enjoy a good smoke.

I'd agree... this might have been funny between to friendly military friends, but doesn't have a place here.

One last thing... note the date of the 'message.'

My older cousin wrestled for Annapolis and went on to fly P3s chasing subs. Now he's flying for American. I wanted like hell to fly for the Navy out of High School and he helped and encouraged me, but I found out I didn't have 20/20.

I'm extremely proud of my cousin's Naval career and I have a 2 yr. old daughter that I am extremely protective of. Yet I do think this post was amusing and a good reminder as Lofty said. I'd rather be reminded before I say something bad in front of my kid than after.

This post may not belong here, but I'm glad I wasn't censored from it. And I know my cousin would've laughed too.

Have a cigar and chill a bit people.

I've never been in the armed forces. I have seen a lot of movies in which different branches of the aremed forces give the others a hard time. Can some of you service men let me know if that is an acurate portrail?
