In an un-ending quest for a good smoke at a cheap price, please let us know if you've had any knock offs that were good for the price and taste profile, regardless if they actually tasted like the original, but if they actually do then all the better.

The CI-branded Corojos (I reviewed them earlier, scroll down the list of threads) are not quite as good as the Punch Rare Corojo counterparts, but a definitely acceptable alternative. I was downright impressed considering the price.

Apparently they age wonderfully as well.

i had an alternative to a Punch Double Corona. Found it and many others on **. Not that CI doesn't have great knock-offs, but variety is the spice of life. Try one. And be ready to call for help. This is by far the strongest cigar I've ever smoked. Gave me heartburn. Had a great taste, but an afterburn that lasted for hours. Darker than Maduro and 7.00 X 50. Good luck.

Try the Villazon Super Premium 2nds 4.5 x 50 @ $29.95 a bundle. A nice little maduro that is supposed to be a 2nd to either a Punch or HDM Rothschild.
