Actually, its VTOL.
Vertical Take-Off / Landing

The F135 aircraft will replace ALL other aircraft that we use. It has two configurations and capabilities that are not currently public.

I was under the impression that it wouldn't be VTOL, but would be variable depending on which branch uses it. CTOL for USAF; STOVL for U.S.M.C and U.K Royal Navy; and CV (Carrier-based) for the U.S. Navy.

I'm no expert, just what a little birdie told me.

Yes, you are correct.
The JSF has two variants, STOVL and CTOL.
