make your own and save all that money.

How??

I prefer active systems, you can set them and forget them for months, and in a big cooli it's pretty hard to keep a consistent level with anything else.

with a big enough humidifier, and a closed cooler chest, all you have to do is open the chest occasionally and mix the cigars around and add some distilled water. i have 200 of those leyendos in one chest, one of the medium size cooler chests, and don't need a guage. [email protected] if you want some detailed info and you can decide for yourself.

i am a strange one. i also have put in leaves from all my acid cigars. a better tasting cigar i have not found, unless you count all the good cigars available.

Don't waste you time & money. I've gone through 2 of them in 6 months. I have a fair size humidor that holds about 400 cigars and the oasis can't seem to keep up and eventually burns out. My (non-technical) observation is that the thermostat - for lack of better term - is too sensitive and will come on as soon as the humidity goes down to 69 and turn off as soon as it gets back to 70 so it is always turning on and off. However, I will say that their customer service is exceptional.
