Hey guys, I had a great time tonight. Good smokes, good food, and of course, great company. Thanks for the generous smokes, and Mr. Phil, thank you for being so gracious. I look forward to the 18th! I hope you all enjoyed the mini-herf as much as I did, and made it home safe! Goodnight!

I gotta say that I had a GREAT time at Phil's Cigar-B-Que!!

As Steve said, "Good smokes, good food, and of course, great company." ... he left out good drink, too... how he did that, I'll never know... LOL

Always a pleasure to herf with the regulars and always great to add a few new faces to the crowd. Glad that a group of the CB/CI people came to join us. (Mark, don't take any chit from Trish... LOL)

As always, Trish's Jigglers were tremendous!!! They were a little hard to keep in my hands, but once I got them in my mouth... mmmmmmm...

Thank you, Phil, for being a gracious host and opening your home to us.

Hope to see you all again, soon !!

I am very sad I missed this herf. Had a family obligation that, had I not gone, I would be a single man again.

Much sorrow... But, glad you all had a good time.

We all had a wonderful time. Phil, you're the best! And a HUGE thank you for the milder smokes gentlemen. I could hardly breathe on Saturday, but wouldn't change a minute (or a puff) of it!! A more generous group of herfers has yet to be discovered.

Thanks again!

I had a great time! I'm really happy that I can now put faces with the names I see on the forum. Every one was extremely generous with the smokes... and Phil, thanks for everything.

Lowman... Trish only thinks that she is giving me grief. If it makes her happy, let her have it,... besides, i'll get even one day!!! 🙂

Awesome party Phil! Tracie also wanted to say thank you.

It was great seeing everyone and what generosity from a great group of people. Steve, thanks for the K. Hansotia Gold. Can't wait to try this cigar again. The first one had great flavors.

See you all on the 18th!

Anytime Dave. Sorry the first one didn't give ya any smoke. I had one yesterday that did the same thing, which was annoying since the flavor is so nice. Fortunately, it's just a moisture issue. It'll be fine in a bit 🙂

Ode to Cigar-B-Que...

Friday the 3rd was the date marked in my book

Phil invited us over and promised he’s cook

For such an event we required a catchy herf name

Cigar-B-Que was agreed upon by members who came

At his house we all gathered just around six or so

We were told members of CI and even CB would show

Herfers started to show in dribs and in drabs

Trish and Joan were last, but who’s keeping tabs

A car pulled in the driveway with a shout of “We’re here”

In walked Steve with some Guinness which is his favorite beer

Phil took all the orders and the grill set a fire

He cooked like a master that a restaurant would hire

Burgers and dogs were placed carefully on the hot grill

Out came a steaming pot of chili that was homemade by Phil

Salads and fixins were waiting for all members to try

They were nicely arranged on a table nearby

We ate and we drank like this meal was our last

You’d think that there were more people, the food went so fast

As we sat and rubbed our bellies and said how they hurt

Wouldn’t you know it, Phil brought out dessert

Pastries and brownies that were homemade with such care

Tasty treats indeed, but Marke said of the rum ball, “Beware”

When Trish whipped out her Jigglers, a gasp rose from the crowd

They looked perfect and tasty, and you can tell she was proud

Swapping cigars and talking with so much delight

We herfed and we drank till late into the night

Sadly to say, all good things must come to an end

Our hearts were all broken, but slowly they’ll mend.

A great time was had by all the herfers on hand

Kinda like Keith’s Cigar Fest, minus the band

A big thank you goes out to our host, you know who

I am hoping and praying there will be a Cigar-B-Que 2

Ode to a Party Past

Well, I can't compete with Low

when it comes to telling how it was so.

One thing I already knew

is that there will definately be a cigar-b-que 2.

As I awoke the next day

I found my friends had all gone away.

So I sat and I yearned

for their speedy return.

If there is anything about me you should know

I'll plan and I'll scheme to have it again before the snow.

I have to confess to all of you, you gave me the greatest pleasure of all by coming to my home. Being hopelessly Italian, I live to entertain, and it had been far too long since I had the pleasure.

Thanks to all for the beer, brownines, and Jigglers (Trish). I always love the flavors and just holding them in my mouth. Rubbing them together and putting them both in my mouth this time was an extra special treat especially with the chocolate fudge already slathering my mouth. Can't wait to do it again with Tequila.

See you all on the 18th.

What a great bunch of people and very nice of you to all drive up from PA for us. Thanks also for the nice sticks you guys brought too. It was a real pleasure to relax and enjoy with ya'll. Can't wait for the 18th, that should be fun too!!

Phil... are you sure you were talking about Trish's jigglers??

Wow, sounds like you all had a great time! I'm really sorry I missed it... All I got to do was hang out with Nestor Plasencia at his factory and home in Danli...

Heh, heh, heh...

Nestor didn't have Trish's jigglers or Brownies, or the same company.

Steve, what else could I have possibly been talking about?
