So I bought a 'box' of the K. Hansotia Golds on Friday.

Yeah...I just smoked the last one today. And to think, I bought them to age them. 3-day weekends, I hate you.

Don't you just HATE that! 🙂

I got a box of Torano 1959 Exodus Gold DC's and really wanted to age them, well, I DID curb the urge while I still had 2/3's of the box left!

Yeah. I did the same thing with the Centurians...twice. Heh. But, at least I gave half the Golds away to those that would enjoy them. Either way, I shoulda aged my half a bit longer 🙂

Here's what I did to slow me down a bit. My local shop has lockers for rent to store your "excess" cigars. You know, the ones you don't want the wife to know about. Well, what I try and do, and I stress the word "try", is to put half of whatever I buy in the locker ASAP. It is a bit of a trip for me to get to the store and it saves my stash from ransacking. I actually have a few things in there that are @ a year old. Woo-hoo!

Yeah. I do that, too. Unfortunately, it's the retail outlet across the street from my apartment. Then there's a humidor at my desk. Then there's the humidor at my Dad's house in Jersey. Then there's the humidor at my sister's house in Jersey. I'm sick...I need help.

Think of it this way.

While you were smoking the ones you wanted to age, you are involuntarily aging the ones you wern't smoking. Win-Win situation.

We all know that there is nothing better than finding that gem at the bottom of the humidor that you haven't even thought about for over a year.

Steve...

With all that humi space you must have between CI & C-bid, don't you just put your "extras" in the big humi & then walk in & get what you need when you need it???

Adiction, what adiction??
