Chalk another one up for customer service.

For any of you naysayers out there, all you have to do is ask (off the freekin' forum) and if you have a reasonable request, it will be granted.

So I open up a box of Astral TVSs that I'd let age for 6 mos. or so. I hand out a couple to some friends of mine and we light up. While I'm bragging on their value the things start cracking along the lines of the corners of the box press. So they're no good.

So I go to check out the rest of the box and find that all of them are pressed too square and are already cracked along at least one corner. I've stored them at around 67% this whole time and hadn't had any problems with any previous boxes of TVSs.

I shoot Trish an email letting her know the sitch and wondering if this has happened before. She tells me that she is not aware of any problems like this, but will gladly replace them for me.

Well today I got the new box with the return label. Inspection yields no problems with this box.

Now I should've inspected the bad box upon receipt and let her know right away, but she hooked it up anyway.

I got one in a trade that was that way. The edges were so "squared" that they cracked, and the draw was really tough. I just put it down and figured I wouldn't be buying any of them. They were a little to mild for me anyway. Glad to hear Trish hooked ya up.

Trish and the rest of the Cbid customer service team are what make it a total waste of time, effort and money to deal with anyone else! I may go to a few other places for a few specific items, but I do at least 95% of my cigar "bidness" right here!

Was good seein' you and Mrs. Dragon at the bar last night. Good friends like you make dealing with jerks like the guy sitting next to you a little easier. Glad I was able to shut his a$$ up without too much effort. I haven't been in the mood to put up with any $hit lately.
