Anyone heard of/used these? Supposed to be the same stuff as in Drymistat tubes. I assume it is akin to the Humi-Care jars here on CBid...also kin to Climmax?

$2 a jar that is listed to handle 50-100 stix.

Ideas,opinions/experiences?

It's more like the Drymistat sticks. Its a polymer gel that gives off humidity. Supposedly it regulates it, but if it's like the Drymistat, it won't. If you overwater it'll bring your RH way too high.

Climmax is completely different. Climmax actually does regulate humidity. It absorbs as well as releases humidity to within a fe recent of the media type(65%RH or 70%RH)

I love the Climmax. There's no guesswork and the RH is always where you want it. Just remember not to overwater the beads.
