Well... I'm not to proud to say I screamed like a little girl on this ride. It's called the X-Scream on top of the Stratosphere and it's basically a ride that pitches you downward on a rail at 850+ feet. It's simple in it's evilness but ruthless in it's delivery. I'd recommend it to anyone who's recently pissed you off...

I just got back from Vegas a few weeks ago. We visited this thing and there was NO FREAKIN' WAY I was going on the ride.

The track extends out, the car races to the end of it and then the whole thing DROPS about 15' down.

NO FRIGGEN WAY DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One of the elevator operators told us next spring they have a new ride planned. It is a swing...that swings out over the edge, spins around and then FLIPS UPSIDE DOWN!!!

The tables treated me okay... in the end I paid a small price for admission. I love Vegas, if only for two days but after that my fun meter is pegged.

We saw the Blue Man group again, that's a great show if you haven't seen it. Very unique.

We were there last week and stayed at the MGM. It was amazing to see the mix in visitors change because of the De La Hoya vs. Hopkins match... which I didn't see. On Friday, the day before the match the MGM looked like rap convention... I never saw so much 'bling bling.'

The highlight of the visit was this ride though... a must see if you love to be terrified to the point of exhaustion... (which I don't)

I couldn't pay my wife enough to go on that with me. She has a tough enough time looking out the windows of the Stratosphere. I would have gone alone but she even drew the line at that.
I dig coasters...the higher, faster, scarier...the better.

I just won't ride "Thunder Mountain" anymore...bad track record.

I went of the other one, the boomerang or something like that. Did you go on it? That was a blast! Lost one of my shoes and had to stop the ride...and do it again!

where in Ohio, Cedar Point?

I don't know anything about this ride in Vegas. Looks like the thing is floatin in the air to me. Maybe its my bad eyes.

But I wonder if it compares to a ride they have at Cedar Point in Ohio. Oh..my...gosh. I dont recall what it's called but I remember some of the stats. I thik I would pee my pants just looking at iT!! Someone already named one of the top rides: Top Thrill Dragster. That must be new to me. But the other one I was thinking was the Millenium Force. Its like a 300' drop at an 80 degree angle. Remember 90 degree drop would be straight down. Insane. And to think, TTD is more extreme than this ride!! check it out:
