tonight at my local back room cigar lounge was a somewhat slow night, but still lush & relaxing. the gratis meal ordered from up the street was tasty, as were the cigars, and shots of blue label.

while viewing some pictures of the owner standing with Castro, one of the regulars leaned over and told me I was not yet in the inner circle, but I am on the outer rim.

the owner told me there was going to be a locker(private locked wall humi) becoming availible soon.

if I opt in, I wont be investing in the high grade 400 box humi cabinet I was planning for.

instead, I'd be among friends, and enjoy comradery & fringe benefits. the coolerdor option would still be there for home stash. the thing that gives me pause, is that this is very high roller stuff for the likes of me. I don't golf, nor frequent bars, so this might be the right fit for me.

I'll have to sleep on this one...

If you drink JW blue you should certainly qualify to be part of their little club. Have you tried the green label yet? Very good for the price.

Can you still be in the inner circle without investing in the private locker humidor? All things being equal, if I could have a killer humi at home or at someone's place of business - I'd opt for the humi at home. I just dont like other people in charge of my stash. I wouldnt have a problem storing 5 or 10 smokes there, but I doubt I'd move any serious quantity of smokes.

Still, a pretty neat opportunity though.

Go for being an insider for a while and see if the fringe beenies do it for you. Wal-Mart isn't going to stop selling Igloos.

What el said.

I would consider it to be an appropriate move. Some of the best business opportunities arise from situations such as this. You have no idea what the inner circle holds if you don't poke your head in and look. They wont tell you either....but you have just been invited. You are not required to play any harder than your budget allows.

But I do (and most here can agree) that you need to take up golf. Cars, people, opposite sex, booze, boats and fishing are discussed in bars and clubs.

Business is done on a golf course.

First, I AM a golfer, and in no real danger of giving it up. Second if business doesn't have SOMTHING to do with at least two of the above, get a new occupation!

Club humidors are not usually inexpensive. But if you have the $$, why not give it a try?

Yo ShilohSharps45-110:

Be careful when mixing golf with business. Many a big business deal was lost because of failure to get the ball past the windmill blades or in the clowns mouth.

LOL

I confess I haven't given away many La Auroras, I smoke almost all I can get! LOL I haven't cared for most of them I've tried, but have a DEFINITE weakness for the Preferidos!
