These are our latest additions to our parrot world. The little blue guys parents bit off the tip of his beak and one toe when they were trying to help him hatch. He's got a little button nose going on, LOL.

how did you get started with parrots?

It all started with us many years ago when a beautiful white (Lutino) Cockatiel appeared in my back yard. One thing led to another and now we have 6 pets and 30 breeders. We had Strawberry Finches before the Cockatiel but they were more of a novelty than pets.

How is the little blue one doing now?

He's smart as they get and has a great family. He's pampered by 3 teenage girls and talks very well.

Those little guys are so cute. Will "lil blue" ever get a normal beak? also, will his balance be ok with a missing toe?

His top and bottom mandable meet instead of the normal overlap of the top. I makes it look like he's smilig all the time, LOL. He doesn't know he's missing a toe, so it doen't matter much to him.
