I've ordered several 5 packs and tins from Cigarbid... The cigars have been decent, but often they are quite dry when they arrive... is this standard or have I just had some unfortunate luck?

Thanks

No matter how meticulous one packages cigars for shipping, chances are they will be a bit dry upon arrival. Most people try to let them rest in their humi a few weeks to a month so they can regulate to the smoker's preferences....that is, if you can wait a month!!!!

Depends on how you had them shipped ...

... sitting in the UPS warehouse and hot UPS trucks for a week will dry any cigar out (especially 5-packs) ... and a couple of weeks in your humidor should be enough.

BTW ... USPS is much faster.

"BTW ... USPS is much faster."

You can email CBid with a request to ship USPS ("Priority" has been very good to me) and they will honor it for probably only a couple a' bucks extra.

What everyone else said 🙂

P.S. I get mine a little over-humidified, from time to time, but never dry.
