I know Kerry has been a chameleon on every issue but I didn’t think it would be "literally and figuratively." I looks like he went to one of those cheap auto paint places for the $199 special and picked orange. He must be pandering to get the "orange vote". The official word from the Kerry camp is ” he got a tan playing a game of pick-up football this weekend”. The only problem with this was it was widely reported he showed up orange to the photo-op, I mean football game.

I see this as an idiotic decision to go "orange" by an idiodiclly desperate liberal trying to run for president.

When is he going to realize that he is no John F. Kennedy, and that all of his lies (i.e., "football game") and "remakes" are just backfiring on him?

He heard the orange groves in Fla were ruined and he is showing his support for the plight of the common grove workers

Before that he was supporting the prune growers

And after yesterdays interview with Diane Sawyer you would think he was showing support for the egg industry he had so much on his face

LMAO, who could vote for this fool?
=================================================

Despite the fact that he will get millions of votes, very few, if any, of those votes will actually be FOR him ... who those folks will be voting FOR is ABB (anyone but Bush) ... had the Dems nominated an Irish Setter, the dog would easily have received as many votes as Kerry will ...

Yes Steve, and the Irish Setter would be a lot smarter than JfK!!!

He's a total sham ... given his traitorous background, I think it's shameful that he could even run for dog catcher, let alone allowed to run for high office ...

Only Massachusetts, the most liberal state in the union, could have produced the Dukakis/Kerry team ... only there could Kerry have become Lt Gov, then Senator ... anywhere else, he'd have been seen for the traitor that he is and run out of town instead of being voted into office ...

Maybe Massachusettes will vote him out of Senate next time he runs! Dreaming? Hell yes, but we can hope!

Steve, how long did you serve in Vietnam (I believe you did) and did you every sustain any battle-related injuries? Being you know and can back-up his "traitorous" background......poking a blind jab makes you look foolish.

BTW, any of you get to see that brain-child you support in the debate? I definitely believe he was a "c" student......and, that's pushing it!

Were you aware that a film of Kerry's testimony before Congress in '71 was shown by the Viet Cong to POWs as evidence that they were criminals? That film gave the Viet Cong a lot of encouragement (aiding and comforting an enemy during wartime IS the very definition of treason). Those POWs were made to suffer far more than would otherwise have been the case. Ask them whether Kerry is traitorous.

No less an authority than Vietnam veteran Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney has said that Kerry's 1971 testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee portraying Vietnam soldiers as "monsters" would have been considered grounds for treason charges in an earlier day.

"There is deep, deep anger for this man ... if he had done this during World War II, he would have been tried for treason," McInerney told ABC Radio in August of this year.

McInerney said, "He betrayed us ... he betrayed not only my personal family (the general had two brothers who also served in 'Nam, one of whom died there) but my [West Point] classmates and all the veterans that were over there."

Referring to the portion of Kerry's testimony where he accused his fellow soldiers of routinely committing barbaric acts on Vietnamese civilians, McInerney told Batchelor, "We did not do those things that he claimed that we did."

McInerney said Kerry's testimony was largely responsible for creating the negative stereotype of Vietnam veterans, noting that many of his fellow soldiers were greeted "babykillers" when they returned from the war.

That yellow wrist band. Is that from the mental hospital?

Hey that yellow bracelet is the newest fad among teens. Depending on the color your wearing it means you have done certain sexual acts. Now yellow that might mean.......I dont know why doesnt someone else finish that statement.

The yellow band is a Lance Armstong fund raising thing. A mentally challenged guy that hangs out with us at the local has one (Joe, he's a great guy I wish you all could meet him) he dosen't smoke but works nearby and comes in about every day to wait for his mom to pick him up. I forget where the charity money goes for sure but I think it is some cancer deal.

Had himself spray painted orange so he can show the hunters of America that he's really "into it." Also works to grab the road construction worker vote.

I asked about those just two days ago after seeing them on several people lately ... turns out they are from the LiveStrong survivorship program started by the Lance Armstrong Foundation and they are being sold to benefit the fight against cancer.
