These are dirt cheap, so I picked one up. If a cooler is really that much better, I'll return this and get one.

I have used one for years. I kept it in the basement where the normal humidity is 70% and therefore I only needed to put a humidification device in twice a year when the seasons change and the humidity if variable. I did keep the cigars in boxes and small humidors with plenty of cedar thrown in the bin.

If the surrounding temperature is constant, they work great. Keep an eye on the humidity.
If the temperature fluctuates, a cooler will minimize the highs and lows.

yes it will work

Mine works so well, I keep all of my wood humidors in it to reduce the amount of maintenance on the humidifier.

don't like it, doesn't have a good seal on it. just get a cooler, yea it cost a lot more but it's a great investment and your gar's will thank you for it fersure fersure.
