the only president of the united sates of america to have a rap sheet

The first arrest of George W. Bush was for theft at a hotel.
The second arrest was for disorderly conduct at a football game.
The third arrest, is for a very serious crime

Again I say this coming from a guy that wears a stupid foil hat like a third grade child. All anyone has to do is look at the pictures that you have posted of yourself and your surroundings, and it truly explains why you are a democrat. How anyone can take you serious is beyond anything that I can comprehend. Gunflint

You missed Kerry's arrest when he was hanging with my favorite urinal stickergirl Jane(the pain) Fonda.

Rick, IMHO those arrests are practically irrelevant- not excusable- just irrelevant. The man should probably be removed for other more serious reasons.

In our misspent youth, many of us have been guilty of of the same or far worse--we just weren't caught. In a rage, I once knocked out a man my size with my second punch, an uppercut. I could not hear him breathing and thought he was dead. If he had been, I'd probably be at Cumberland serving time. Now look at me, I'm a model citizen--Ha!

I know that you want to counterbalance the accusations against Kerry, but these are indiscretions of a foolish, rebellious youth. We all do things that we regret.

Be careful, there are partisan nuts out there with clawed hammers.

Gunflintwoodshop --- those are some pretty harsh words directed at someone who is just having a little fun with life ...

... and not afraid to post it for all to see.

I honestly think the world would be a better place, if more of us had the levity that Rick has shown ...

Some individuals don't like to see that George is indeed fallible. I know George doesn't care to admit that, which I think may be his biggest failing. I love how Bush supporters tend to dwell a LOT on things Kerry did 30 years ago, but like to ignore or discount the things Bush did. I'm sure Kerry supporters are the same way, but it seems to be a lot less public. In my opinion people do change. They make mistakes. They move on. They grow up. If I were held accountable for all the things I did before the age of 25....well its best not to dwell on such things.

At least he didn't commit treason. Being that Kerry's anti-war stance was used by the Viet Cong to add pain, suffering and death to numerous POW's near the end of the Vietnam conflict...Kerry's crime was much more serious.

In my college days in the late 70s I could have filled two of these cards, had my luck been different. That would be true for many of the self-righteous posters here. Some to this very day, I would bet.

Actually, what Kerry did 30 years ago is only important (to me at least) because he wants to ride his 4 month tour of duty as a badge of courage. He spent much more time belittling the sacrifice of his fellow soldiers than he did fighting for our country.

I say, look at his political record. It IS relevent. And it does reveal him for the socialistic anti-American that he is.

Kerry was honorable for 4 months his entire life.
He's spent every ounce of energy since then undoing it.

nfl, there are some things that occurred years ago that you are right who cares. But then there are others like tailgater mentioned that are just unforgiveable.

You can not compare Bush's ticket to Kerry's denigration of our soldiers no matter how hard the libs try.

Gunflintwoodshop, I find your comments to Rick very offensive. I whole-heartedly second Slim's response.

Without Rick posting on this board, then conservative crowd would be left with nobody to challenge their basic assumptions of life (which, IMHO desperately need to be challenged from time to time to get you thinking).

I for one always miss Rick's posts when he takes a break. Even if I don't always relate to them, and they are sometimes over the top, they are always interesting, and most times funny.

Personally I could care less what you think of my opinion. That is the great thing about being and American. Rick has the right to post his thoughts, and I have the right to post mine. Gunflint

Completely agree with tailgater on this one, and would like to also point out that the Senator is the only person to run for office who actually gave comfort to the enemy by visiting Vietnam while we were still figting the war and having his picture enshirned there as a North Vietnamese Hero!

It was Kerry who has been dwelling on the 30 yrs ago BS... and bringing it up at damn near every campagne event across the country... So to have the issue opened up and discussed publicly of just how good it was 30+yrs ago the Bush supporters or anyone in check with Kerry is wrong?? LMAO!!!!!

"They make mistakes. They move on." So when is Kerry going to stop making Mistakes?? his senate record isnt something he wants to run on his ticket for the white house... I'll stop dwelling on Kerry's propaganda BS when this A$$ Clown is a image in the rear view mirror Nov 3rd 2004 ;0)
