Don't eat that sucker! Stripers are loaded with mercury and selenium.

Beauty, We catch more of the Hybrid Stipers (cross between the white bass and stripers) in my fishing holes. In fast water below a damn, you're in for a big fight with a 10+ pounder. In the hill country below the damns, 30 and 40 lb. strippers happen.

I asked you what you were doing Saturday Steve, but I could tell your college football game was important, thats why I didn't ask if you wanted to go.

Hey KNOF, Nice looking fish. What's the green thing in its mouth? What part of the Delta are you fishing in ? The stripers were hitting pretty good the weekend b 4 Thanksgiving down by the pump station at the Clinton Court Forebay down in the southern part of Delta near Tracy. They were hitting on just about anything you could throw at them. No lunkers but a lot of nice keepers !!! Also, are you serious about the "1st Fish." Was that for the day or your life ?

Hey deadzheadz,
That green was a special lure called "the towel", LOL.
So you were down in "Old River", huh? Do you live out that way? I almost put in at Lazy M's but with the potential for wind that day we launched at Disco Bay. We actually had good action in Old River too, just east of Indian Slough.
