I always read about everyone hanging out smoking cigars together and I, the newbie, is always left smoking cigars alone in my part of the country. It reminds me of being in a High School Lunch room again. Anyone live near Chattanooga, TN. Anyone got any help for a quy who needs cigar buddies?

There's only one, unless you count The Tender Box. Burn's Tobbaconist. It's the best I've ever been in as well, It's connected to The Chattanooga Billards Club and The Tropicana Room which is a smoking room for those with a good bit more money than I have. It really is something though to see a selection of cigars as large as they have available. Problem is, they know that nobody can compete with them so they rocket the prices, that part sucks a good bit.

My wife and I are fairly young(21). I just thought I would throw that out there so you don't plan a trip around hanging out with a couple that may not grab your attention very much. On the other hand there's always conversations about cigars.

My wife just asked me what I was laughing at, lol. I didn't mean to insinuate that you were, I just wanted to put a disclamer out there since on the picture post there seems to be a lack of people my age on this site.

I live in Knoxville and am in Chattanooga at least once per month.

I could meet you for lunch one day probably..

I am down in Atlanta. That's not too far of a drive for a BOTL.

Heck yeah Mellow, e-mail me and let me know when you're coing and we'll hook up and hit Burn's. You ever been there?

Spadesmen, I'm sure that there's probably some good places in ATL to enjoy a good cigar right?! It might be more eventful for me to come down to Atlanta for an important botl meeting.

I was born in Birmingham. How's it going over there? Say hello to Vulcon for me, is he back up yet?

I see no reason that we shouldn't all set this up.

Yes, he's back up and looks great. You can actually go higher to a catwalk now. Was there for the re-opening tribute party.. looked good! wasn't really born here but have come to love the hills and breathtaking views. Sounds like a great plan.. this is your link so I'll let you decide on the ins and outs.

That really is good to hear about Vulcon. When I was a kid my parents would take me there and tell me of there first date and how they went there. Sounded boring to me but I guess at the time it was a fairly decent make out spot.
At any rate, I'll start a new thread for a Chattanooga Herf, and see what kind of response we get. Thanks man,

Oh you better believe there's a train that goes through here.
(Music starts in the background)
(Everyone Smiles..................... A sparkle shines off teeth)

(Hi there Tex, what you say?)
Step aside partner, it's my day
Bend an ear, and listen to my version
Of a really solid Tennessee excursion
Pardon me boys, is that the Chattanooga Choo-Choo?
(Yes, Yes, Track 29)
Hey would you give me a shine?
(Can you afford to board Chattanooga Choo-Choo?)
I got my fare
And just the travel to spare
You leave the Pennsylvania Station by a quarter to four
You read a magazine and then you're in Baltimore
Dinner in a diner
Nothing could be finer
And then to have a hammer in the Carolina
When you hear the whistle blowing into the bar
Then you now the Tennessee is not very far
Shove a all the coal in
Gotta keep a rollin'
Woo-woo Chattanooga there you are
There's gonna be
A certain party at the station
Satin and Lace (ooh)
I use to call funny face
(doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo)
She's gonna cry
Until I promise to never ever roll,
So Chattanooga choo-choo
Won't you choo choo me home
(Chattanooga Chattanooga)
Get aboard
(Chattanooga Chattanooga)
Chattanooga choo choo
Won't you choo-choo me home
Chattanooga choo choo
Let's dance

Sorry, it's early.
