Through a combination of BOTL tips, cash and a few high draft choices from Cuba, I have been able to get almost two boxes of AF 858 SG.

These were much harder to find than Opus, Anejo or Hemi Maduros.

I'm still looking for 858 Rosado and would much appreciate any leads. (2runners at cox dot net)

About 5 BOTL here will be getting a little Christmas present for your help.

I scored a full box of 858 SG's at a place I stop in from time to time. He approached me and asked me if I wanted to buy a box since he knows I'm always looking for the hard to find stuff.

i have seen much traffic this year on the 858 sungrowns....there has supposedly been a release....i have ordered some from a "contact". he says he gets 'em from a local in ok. or ks. i dunno, but there obviously has been...at least according to sources on another site...which shall remain nameless....unless you e-mail me and ask for the name of it......

There was a limited release in 2003 that were actually the same batch from 2002. I am not convinced that any hitting the shops are not from the same 2002 genre. FWIW.
Just from reading, I don't have any shops with them...

Fellow SG junckies,

All info I have from many sources says these are releases from '02 production and there has not been any new production since then.

The shops and individuals that sold or traded me the recent batch say they were from Fuente's showcase contests where they reward thier retailers for displaying Fuente's lines.

Very few boxes were released to these retailers from what I can determine.
