Here is a photo of some of the snow that we receive in Upstate New York! This is last winter. Not too bad actually compared to some of the snow storms that we do get! I cant wait to see what this year brings......

I remember those days - I'm originally from Hague - in Upstate NY - in the Adirondacks - I remember snow banks blocking half of the windows in the kitchen - snowbanks higher than I was when I was young and I remember being a dj at a local radio station in the next town over during a blizzard that dumped I think it was 3 feet of snow so when I had the chance to move to Norfolk, VA - hell yeah I jumped at the chance lol don't miss it at all, no way !!

A couple years ago on christmas we got hammered with almost 3 feet of snow in one day! Living in new york you get used to the snow, but atleast I can have fun with my plow!!!

I'm from Northern New York, and I always laugh when I hear Syracuse and Albany called upstate. Upstate is downstate of me.

Central New York is a better term. But alot of people associate living in New York with being near the city!! I actually live almost dead center in the state! either way you look at it. Living in new york, you get high snow and higher taxes!!!
