I had about 60 tons of boulders trucked in by my buddy and his rig. His whole set up coast 300,000.,Peterbilt and crane. Its cool he can go out as far as 65 feet but that limits the size of boulder he can place. I had him put about 20 in the front yard and the rest he lifted over the back wall for my pool and waterfall, when I ever get the money.

I am getting a kick out of this. I am paying to have boulders removed from my yard, and you are having them put into your yard. I posted about the cows, because my neighbors cows keep getting out and love my back yard, especially the corn I put out for the deer.

If you know I 15 coming into San Diego then you know the lilac bridge ( BIG ARCH) No truck over 7 ton can cross, the rock came from my buddies neighbor that had a avocado grove on the other side of the bridge. He had to blast about 100 tons out for his house pad. Its some Beautiful rock but no one wanted it because you have to go all the way around to get it out, not cost effective. I got it for free and paid my buddy with the crane $500 cash for each load 5 truck and trailer trips on his days off or when he was done with another job in the area. cost me $2500 it would go for about $350 a ton about $20,000 retail. When I get ready to do my pool he will come back and place the rocks I have piled in my back yard. The kids play on them more than there swing set.

Looks like quite an undertaking! Would love to see the finished product, as I would like to add boulders in a waterfall of sorts to my pool, but limited space does not allow a lot of big boudlers like that one!
