He was very nice to me when we were on set together at "Law & Order". The first time I worked with him he was quoting "Young Frankenstein" between takes the whole day and we talked football. I consoled him about his Jets (August 2003). He said "Don't feel bad for me, I've been going through this **** for 25
years now."

He was a class act and I'm sad to not have a chance to work with him again.

Always wanted to tell him "No one puts Baby in the corner!"

RIP Jerry Orbach.

I was unaware that he passed. Nice to know he was a genuine guy.

Jerry Orbach was one of my favorites and I will always remeber him as Lennie Briscoe from Law and Order! I remember one show when they were looking for a sniper that was smoking AVO Torpedos while awaiting the target! They found the band of the AVO at the scene from where the sniper had hit the guy! Orbach says, "Well, our sniper has good taste in cigars, AVO...."
He seemed to be a genuine guy and I really liked his character in Law & Order, not enough guys like him in leads on TV today!

Yeah, thought about the line that Patrick Swayze put on him in "Dirty Dancing", "nobody puts Baby in the corner"!

Yes Ryan, I am an actor/director/Realtor 🙂 . I've done both principal work ("Law & Order" two times, "NY Graham Norton") and I've just recently done background work for the first time ("Annapolis" -film to be released in 2005).

btw, yes that IS me on the left.

Way to go, I saw this particular show, saw most of them since this is one of the few shows I used to watch! When Otbach left, I sorta lost touch with the show waiting for the spin off with him in it! Now, guess it will not be!
