In my wife's absence I spent a LOT of money on cigars, and figured purchasing one of those Havana Foot Locker humidors would cover my increased quantity. Wrong answer. Now I'm stuck with loads of excess (ok - I just filled all of my humidors, and have room for about 6-8 more sticks - but have 1 box, 1 bundle, and 5 sticks on the way).

I'm looking for an established vet to trade with (preferably one with a few of those ridiculously priced AF Anejos in stock). You e-mail me with your basic flavor preferences, and I'll send you a good assortment of sticks. You wait until you receive it (and until I get a chance to reduce my stock by a few sticks), and then send me 1, 2, or however many you feel is appropriate of your top smokes.

Be patient and don't worry, someone will bite this. Everyone here knows a thing or two about being in a similer situation with the wife.

I'll give you some advice. When the shipment comes in, bid up another couple hundred dollars worth of cigars, and then the first time she says anything at all to you about it... another hundred bucks worth of cigars. Soon she will be used to this behavior from you and will either become immune to the shipment of cigars being sent to your home or she'll stop saying anything about it.

Yes I agree what do you consider higher end smokes? There are plenty of us out here that might be more inclined to bite if you wiggle the bait a little more aggressively.

Not that I have any room for any additional smokes. I've been trying like hell to bomb some space into my humidors only to be beaten back into my cave by the overly generous BOTL on this fantastic web sight....

Can you give an idea of what sticks in addition to the Fuerte that you have to trade. Not that I need any but I do have some anejos. Anything extra I get just gets donated to troops or a college club.

Since I first posted this, two things have happened:
1. I sobered up;-)
2. I actually went through my humidors to see what I had hidden.

I sat there, looking at my cigars, trying to figure out which ones I was willing to cough up in a trade. I'm having real difficulty identifying any. Or, rather, any that I don't want that some of you might want.

For now I'm corresponding with Bifuente over e-mail. If we can't work something out, I'll come back to this thread. I still might have to send Smitty (Schmitty?) another package...
