All this talk about Napa Cigars, lately... I had to do it...

Saw these at a local B&M the other day, soooo... I went to get them today.

I know they're not the Canary Island Reserve, but...

Hey Low,

How did it taste? I got one from a freind and haven't tried it yet. the band look kind of simple but you can't nver judge a cigar by it's band.......

Amazing find Low ... they are in 'mint' condition !!!

Although not the 'Canary Island' ... these have got to be pretty good. In fact, Cigar Aficionado gave the Pyramids an 89 rating in the April 1998 issue, while the Napa Canary Islands Reserve Figurado got an 83 rating in the April 1998 issue ...

... but the 'Canary Island' is the one that really got me going on the cigar path. Something about them that was just very unique, and had a flavor and complexity like no other.

Thanks, Slim. I pulled them all out of the box and they are all fine. The guy at the store said that he's probably had them in his humi for 4 or 5 yrs.

I haven't smoked one yet, Andy so I can't give you a review.

These are not the same in any way as the Canary Island Napa's!

When they moved them to the Domican Republic, a cost saving try, they do not have the same great tobacco and they just are not the same!

Oh ... and the first Dominican (their second production), was far superior to their second Dominican (their fourth production).

The last one I thought was crap ... even thoght CA gave them an 87 rating.
