from my top shelf......Opus X Maduro cigars have maduro versions of the normal Dominican Republic rosado Opus X wrapper; this is different from the Añejos, which use Connecticut broadleaf maduro wrappers. The Opus X Maduro wrappers are grown on a small part of the Fuente farm, on the side of a hill, where they are left out longer to ripen before harvesting. Because of the limited area they are grown in, and the additional exposure to the elements, the yield is very small. Fuente has not been growing the maduro Opus X wrapper since 2001, so the supply of these cigars is currently even more limited.

Destino al Siglo "13"

aka "AF 13" (6 3/8" x 40), 100 boxes of 13 cigars sold to the first people to put their credit cards down in late 2003. This is a pre-released version of what will (eventually) become a special anniversary cigar for Fuente, the name of which may be "Don Arturo Destino al Siglo"
