Do you have a seperate stash of cigars that you keep for trades, or do just pull "normal" more or less everyday sticks that you smoke and *really* enjoy on a regular basis out of your humi?

I guess to lend some perspective, some sort of Hemingway is a cigar that I smoke and enjoy on a regular basis, while a PAM or an Opus isn't.

i have "personal favorites" that i give very few of in trades. check the picture post tomorrow. but i have given out my personal favorites many times. i want everyone....well, most everyone, to enjoy the same as i do.

I have my super premiums in my Coleman upright coolerdor, I'm pretty stingy with them (sorry fellas). I have a sweaterboxidor that has alot of my trade stuff, plus I reach in there if I want a smoke that isn't a super premium. I also have a 150ct desktop that has a little bit of everything in it, trade stuff, premium, and super premium. I love to share, but since I just can't afford to send them each time, the supers usually are saved for myself and people who have really been generous in a previous trade.

I still don't have that many super premiums and I don't want to trade some of them away before I have a chance to try them. For example, I have a PSD4 that has been burning a hole in my humi for awhile. Once I try it though, I don't think I will have a problem trading any like kinds away. I will say that I have a friend who I smoke with regularly and I have given him many super premiums (some that I have paid big bucks for here in cali) before trying them myself. I always feel uncomfortable smoking something better than him in front of him.

i have a cooler that holds my TRADE stash. My humi's are my reach in daily grabs. In My TRADE cooler are sticks ready to be passed to my special buds. Mostly still in cello (cause i take them off when they go in my humis). its not junk! its a mix of top shelf that i would not smoke (for taste profile reasons and cause i want to share the wealth) and top shelf I do (usually split my gars between humi and cooler when i get a box). It also contains commons and middle of the road "everyday" smokes in there too!

I do it mainly cause I prefer to store all my sticks in humi NAKED. Most people prefer to get there sticks cello or wrapped still. Thats how it started.

i do keep a seperate cooler for trade sticks, but there is no general rule for me.
if some BOTL lips off too much and deserves only the finest sticks, i go to my own personal humi, and dig out the supreme stuff.

there's only a few that i won't send. i used to have 4 partagas 150's, and sent off 3 to fine BOTL's, which leaves me with only 1. that ones for blacky.

all in the same population. Almost every stick I own is available for trade.

when it comes to generosity Delta is in a class all his own. Heck he sent out more super premiums than my local keeps on hand (he has two huge walk in humidors) and then when you attempt as best you can to retaliate he hits you again with the same WMD he sent the first time.

I guess the rubber meets the road with what you typically buy for your own use. Since I typically buy cigars in the $6.00-8.00 range that's what I send out. Oh there are those few exceptions when I attempt as feabile as it may be to fire off a volly of the Delta calibre but I ussually have to rub the wifes feet for a week in order to aquire a greater allowance.
