Well after reading a few threads on here about the Graycliffs and the Griffin's Cigars I recalled having a few of these stashed away.. or stuffed away to be exact in my dog rocket stash... in any matter I located the above cigar and was going to smoke it to see if my tastes have changed... when I first found it my recollection of the band and cigar... the band looked to be of the previous cigar I smoked a few years previous, but the wrapper on the cigar as I recalled seemed to be darker then I remember?

I couldn't locate the Graycliffs last evening so I'll have to do another thread later on it... but for now...

prelight was good..prelight draw was also good, upon lighting I found it a bit troublesome to maintain a configured light all the way around even with rolling... finally it took to the lighter and after many puffs I was settling into an old memory... only this time the cigar seemed to be a bit on the bitter/heavier side then what I recalled? as it was making it's way to the 1/2" mark the bitterness was vanishing but the medium build of the cigar remained... these to me were more on the mild/bland side as I recall in the past?? as it made it's way to the 1" mark I was having a bit of trouble with the one side burning a bit faster then the other almost as if the cigar was wanting to tunnel on me? (this could have been where I had it stored as I do not mess with rotation in my dog rocket collection) and I had to Burn the cigar even a few times while smoking it... by the time the cigar made it to the 2/3rds mark it had kept the same complexity nothing was standing out or telling me this is a great cigar? going past this point and getting almost to the 1/2 way mark it did for a few puffs bring out a sort of floral taste and then fell back to the same bland tobacco taste complexity from the beginning... I remained smoking it for a bit longer before I just set it off to the ashtray and chalked it off as nothing new, even with the 3-4 yrs age it had on it... all in all... it's still a dog rocket on my tastebuds...

Hog was sitting at the computer smoking this thing and just the smell of the cigar left a taste in my mouth for several hours. Geez, it was even worse when I decided to try it. YUK!

(Ahem) and now working on a Computer Armiour for my oldest daughter... along with putting together flag cases and picture frames...

now can we get back to discussing cigars?? LMAO!!!!
