I agree, you'd be amazed at some of the really old bourbon you can buy overseas that never sees the light of day here.

That's because generally speaking, the bourbon market in the U.S. has been dead for some years now. We sold all of our bulk and barrel inventory overseas quite a while ago. That's why you're seeing so much old/dated bourbon.
