Appears to have hatched a few boxes from that forbidden island way over yonder. Those look good. And they will be well protected. Always nice to see another wine-cooler conversion.

HD, do you have a temp controller on it?

i have changed out the thermostat.
and now it hold at 68 degrees and 66% humidity.
the picture is the day i brought it home, and it was not set up yet.
i am getting some wood shelves made for it.(thanks Hog)
i've only had it for two weeks, and still have a long way to go.

that is the one.
at $158.00 you cant even buy a good humidor for that kind of money.
i did change the thermostst, with the factory one it was cycling between 59 and 64.
with the new thermostat it hold steady at 68.
besides wood shelves, the only other thing i am going to do is take out the little light and replace it with a small fan for air circulation.
without packing the boxes tight i think it should hold about 25 boxes.

please explain. if the cigars are kept in ceder boxes, what is the purpose of ceder shelves, appearance?

this really looks great and cheaper then humidors. what did you do to change the thermostat. i am not familiar with that idea.

This is true. One of my side buisnesses, is a refrigerator and dorm furniture sales and storage. I can pick these coolers, though used, for between $15 and $20, at the end of the semester. Store them in my shed, and sell them to the incoming students the next semester, for $50-$80. I also buy couches, $10-$20, that I sell for $50-$80. It's a great little racket. LOL
Nice settup HDking. I'd like to make it down to Texas to see it up close.
