Working here of course requires me to have some take home projects. I convinced my wife that during the winter months the garage is the best place. I hung the TV (Christmas present), installed a dimmer switch to improve the lighting and have a heater on standby for those cold nights. Of course there’s that Blue box on the left, a must have for all smoking lounges.

Never had a Labbatt. But I like beer. Mmmmmmmmmmm, beeeeeeeeeeeer.

Nice set-up. My garage has a buncha stuff and 2 cars in it. But on the cold nights I move one of the cars out and set up the heater.

Actually, Labatt's not bad. It's smooth and goes down pretty easily. Just stay away from the Labatt Honey Brown. It's nothing like Dundee's.

Thanks Steve, it really isn’t anything special, but it’s nice to have something to watch for that hour plus that I’m spending outside. Plus when there's a game on and I’m forced to do outside work, I’m within an ear shot of the action.

Steve... ever try Kilkenny's? Guinness makes it, but it isn't as bitter and is way more creamy than the Guinness draft... which I also like.

MACS(SW) - I heard of it, but haven't had it. I do appreciate the recommendation, and I will definitely see about picking up a case. We have a great boutique beer distributor close by that has practically everything. To you, I'd recommend Old Dominion. It's a nice stout that's been conditioned in oak bourbon barrels after the fermentation process. This gives it a great creamy flavor, with vanilla-like undertones. It's not as heavy as Guinness, but is very smooth.

boddington's is good for folks that like creamy, but not bitter.

I was actually going to ask you what kind of TV that was. I am in the market for a small flat panel for the bedroom.

Magnavox. I got it at Home Depot, I mean Santa brought it. They were actually selling TV’s the few days after Thanksgiving. It also doubles as a computer monitor.

All those beers pale next to Young's Oatmeal Stout Rated 4.87 out of 5 in the beer lovers guide. At a measley $51.00 a case I still consider it a bargain! It's that good ,kinda like The PAM of beers.

Youngs Oatmeal stout, is a good beer, but I like their Double Chocolate stout better. They double up on the chocolate malted barley, and leave the oats out of it. Delish. For an Oatmeal Stout, I reach for Samuel Smiths.

samuel smith is good stuff...i enjoy the oatmeal stout, but i think my favorite is the nut brown ale...
it's a little pricey, but well worth the money...

I've had the Young's double chocolate and actually was looking for it but no one around hear sells it by the case and a 4 pack is $16.00. It is my wifes all time favorite beer and hey if it puts her to sleep while i smoke and watch sports i guess it's worth the price!

Labatt's Blue is all the wife lets him drink, heheheee. That way she knows he won't drink too much, LOL!
