Although Hugh Douglas (#53) is no longer a "star player" on the defense these days, he's STILL my favorite. This is the jersey I'll be wearing when I get to watch them in the SuperBowl!

I think that's a lot more insightful than a lot of other comments I've heard today ... watching the post game shows yesterday, it was clear that in winning the NFC Championship the Eagles had reached a long awaited goal ...

The Patriots, on the other hand, reacted quite differently to winning the AFC Championship ... it was clear that to them, their victory was nothing more than another step in the direction of attaining THEIR goal ...

Why couldn't the Eagles beat the Patriots? All year all I keep hearing is how the eagles are gonna lose....that dimwit Hoge predicted 8-8 ! Then they couldn't win without T.O....Then they couldn't beat the Vikings...then the Micheal Vick experience was unbeatable.....It's one game....anything could happen.

Its fun to watch Philly fans get all excited about "being there" .... I rember how that felt not so long agao (as a die hard Red Sox and Pats fan). With due respect Trish, just being there is not and will never be good enough. Plain and simple, the Patriots will wipe the field with the Eagles. After it is over, Trish, tell me if just being there was good enough.
