Been getting bombed too much lately and coupled with my normal orders, I have no more room…and my lovely wife will not allow a large coolerdor in the house. So, I need to get rid of a few sticks and was inspired by Frank’s college football trivia contest. Therefore, have decided to sponsor my own little College Football Trivia Contest. The first person to answer the following questions correctly will win a 10 pack from me.

Since the SEC is THE best conference in college football (and no debating that or ‘no soup for you”), though we’d have a little SEC History lesson.

1. What year was the SEC founded?
2. How many original teams were in the Conference?
3. What teams dropped out?
4. What year did they drop out?
5. How many Commissioners have there been the history of the Conference?
6. Who is the current Commish?

First one to post all of the correct answers wins. Have fun.

The Southeastern Conference, with its storied 72-year history of athletic achievements and academic excellence, has built perhaps the greatest tradition of intercollegiate competition of any league in the country since its inception in 1933.

SEC MILESTONES
December 8-9, 1932
At the annual Southern Conference meeting in Knoxville, Tenn., the 13 members west and south of the Appalachian Mountains reorganized as the Southeastern Conference.

Technically you answered the questions in 5 lines instead of six, so I win right? (c:

1894 was the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association (SIAA) not the SEC.

I verified my info from the SEC website which said that it was founded in 1933. After looking further, I did see the Dec 1932 date.

Let's say it was a tie and I'll split the winnings bewteen Born and Goody.

Goody, e-mail me your snailer.

Goody, go ahead and send me your snailer. I really need to make some room. I have four boxes sent to me over the weekend (36 total sticks), received my order from CBID (71 cigars) and have a bomb coming from Delta.
