a little fact about Clark Gable...In the movie It happened one night, Clark takes off his shirt and isn't wearing an undershirt. That year cotton sales dropped like a stone. Also, the character Bugs Bunny relies heavily on the character Gable plays in the film especially in the scene where he is walking down the road eating raw carrots trying to hitch a ride. Also, Gable was angry about this role. Apparently, he was being kind of a jerk ,and since the company owned the rights to him, they sold him to another company to make this film. He felt that the Romantic Comedy genre had been played out and was furious. That movie is one of two that have won the oscar for best picture, best actor, best actress, and best director...One flew over the Cuckoos nest being the other.
