"Did you have a bad experience with someone? "

It's beginning to look that way.

I've dealt with some *very* honorable folks here. but... OTOH...

On message boards, a sticky, means that a message would always remain on top of all other posts. Handy to have sometimes, with the newbie info thread and such.

Waldo, you could really be helping the rest of us out if you disclose the person you suspect of wrongful acts. Maybe someone else could vouch for this person, or, at the very least, you could protect the rest of us from dealing with this person in the future. I don't mean to create soap opera material, but it might be warranted in this situation.

Publicly outing someone should be an absolute last resort.

I agree with lofty, hey the warning has been posted. .if you can't hang with the big dogs, stay under the porch. This is a gentlemens club, gentlemen follow through. .

Experience has shown to me that 90% of public outing were not necessary, ar at the least, a few weeks premature. ymmv.

Waldo and i have had this discussion, there's more than one "bad apple" fortunately it isn't spoiling the whole bunch. we both agree there should be some kind of way to tell others! it's not that you're losing several hundred dollars, but to take advantage of folks and not keep your end of the trade really sucks!!!

If someone is not keeping their end, and you have made every reasonable attempt to reach them, and given them time to get out of the hospital or crap like that...
Then it is your responsibility to post it on the board.

Failure to do so and someone else gets burned is not fair.
Keep in mind that 90% of the time it is a lack of communication, not a rip off artist, so the outing is usually premature. Should you have to send 6 emails and wait 4-6 weeks before it is considered mature? No, but the answer can also be yes, so patience first, and always 'out' a bad trade that never corrects.

I agree completely with mrtelcom. Do your best to make sure all avenues have been exhusted first.

If no results, it is in all our interests to share the info.
