Hi All,
open to trades for the following: Opus X Black ball cap. Signed by Carlito Fuente and Carlos Fuente SENIOR. As you know, getting seniors autograph these days is nearing impossible due to his limited travels. Also I have an original Toast across America two pack from the fuentes with a Diamond Crown Maximus and Opus X, both in figurado style (not available). As you may remember, there were 5000 of these packages made by the Fuentes, all destined to be smoked at one time across america. There were a small handful not sold that are still out there. I have the cigars in the original Fuente humidipack, signed by Carlos Fuente Senior. To the best of my knowledge this is one of three (out of 5000) that were signed by carlos Fuente. He signed these for me last year. I had two of the three and now there is one left. Probably one of the rarest in existance. Could even be more rare than the Opus Football, (less of those were made, but I don't think any of them have been smoked.) I am open to all trades for those of you that are interested. The challenge for me has been, like a rare bottle of wine, is it more important to save and collect, or savor the uniqueness? Pictures are available, please email me at [email protected]

What could you possibly be looking for in exchange for what you listed? If that is your website, you already have everyone else beat in the rare department.

Are you being serious? Why wouldn't someone who has access to what you say you have, have access to whatever it is you want to trade for? I have a hard time believing this one... things can be conterfieted, it is going to take a lot more than just a picture of a set of cigars and Carlito to convience me that you actually have in your possesion what you claim you have. Sorry to be a critic.

To humor myself, what are you wanting in return?

if it is Moki slumming - many people use his pics to reference so I guess you'd have to know his e-mail.

it is not Moki - I do agree with Moki that the football is much more rare than what is offered here.

While I have no desire to own an autograph I question how any of you would know it's authenticity.

What year are the TAA? Cigars were meant to be smoked.

I still want to know what he is wanting in return for this trade if it really is ligit...

I have a Signed Diamond Crown Maximus and Opus X, both in figurado style for trade for a set of Carlito's testicles and Tim Ozgener's wedding band...

Sorry for my disbelief

The guy could be legit but, who but Carlito himself could trade for something like that? It would take every cigar I have and then some, although I do have a "Toast Across America" DC Maximus from 2003. Thats really the only rare cigar I have and it was a birthday gift from a shop owner.

Fellas,
I can understand your questions. If any of you are in Oregon I will extend a personal invitation to come by my home to review them in person. The true value of the cigars is whatever someone thinks they are worth. The only, and I mean only, reason I was looking to trade is because I am thinning out the rare stuff. I have been smoking cigars for about 15 years and I did accumulate at one time a lot of different stuff, however for I found that when I smoked an impossible to find cigar, I would question it later. The reality is that the other set I had I auctioned off and donated the proceeds to the Fuente Charity, giving the money directly to Fuente family members at Big Smoke 2004. This is just an opportunity to pass along some very fine cigars to another herfer. I have a large humidor and actually end up giving away as much as i smoke. Anyone that has traded with me in the past (my old screen name was smokerings1) knows my generosity. The cigars originally sold for $50.00 for the set for the toast across america. If it autograph seekers that are interested than I would encourage you to have the signatures checked, you wont be disappointed. My tastes over the years have grown towards medium to fuller body cigars, so I am open. I smoke anything from VSG to Indian Tabac to Perdomo to CAO. I am not asking anyone to empty their humidor. I have around 2000 cigars already and only smoke twice a week, so do the math. If anyone is truly interested please email me and we can go from there, you can even call me.
Scam artists would be looking for big bucks. I could get big bucks on ebay, however I just thought I would do a trade with a fellow Herfer. For the folks that participated in the toast Across America with the Fuentes via satellite, the cigars are still in the original humi pouch with the original documentary paperwork inside, dated from October 7, 2004.

Thank you gentlemen for the emails. I have recieved several and look forward to hearing back from you. The interesting part is that no one emailed with an offer, I just got emails from folks asking what I wanted for them. You would be surprised at what I was willing to take. This was about sharing with other herfers (except for the hat, which was to get money to send to the Fuente charity).
Being skeptical is natural. At this point I have recieved six emails for trades and that is enough. I will wait to hear back.
On another note, if anyone wants to do a blind trade let me know. You know, set the approx dollar value and strength and go from there. It could be fun!
So ya thought of me as Moki eh?
