I've been a cigar smoker for abut 10 years, and, honestly, haven't noticied the big advantages so many of us report here resulting from aging off cigars. Until now. I bought a box of those inexpensive yellow band Dominican Cohibas about a year or so ago, smoked a couple, and found them bitter and harsh, and a poor burn. So, having relagated them to the back of the humidors, they sat next to the monte's and ashtons. I'm definetly no expert on what transpired, but I can tell you as I sample this relic, that the aging deal does make a huge difference in this particular cigar. I strongly recommend aging those yellow band Dominican Cohibas.

you got that right, I too have a box, that I won on CB, buried somewhere in the humidor, it hasn't been a years worth of aging yet, but it will before it is let out to play again.
