NEWBIE Trade - This thread is where newbies should go to develop a positive rep with the vets on the board. Any newbie will be paired with a veteran. The veteran will ask for something, and if the newbie agrees will send the package. Upon receipt the veteran will put together a generally too big, and too generous package to kick start the newbies cigar obsession. See the Newbie Trade thread and Post there to be included.

Sent ferg my end of the newbie trade per instructions. Seven real nice cigars. So I figure maybe he'll send me a tenner in return. So I'm looking at the humi, and I'm looking at the lots on CBid, and I pick up a 5er, and a sampler, and I look at CI, and I get a coupla small samplers...

All on the same day, (after the snowstorm ended) I gets three boxes... one from CI, one from Cbid, and one from ferg... three guesses which one's biggest? Not the size of the box, mind ya... til I open it, I'm still figuring a tenner.

You, Mr ferg, are a credit. To the FOG's of the board and to yourself. Thank you. I can't believe the awesome pile of cigars this man hit me with! (he tops the stack with a L.A. preferido 1903 platinum... and it's not in bad company...)(!!!) I heartily recommend this generous veteran BOTL... as a truly humiliating experience for any newbie who wishes a great break-in to trading. Thank you, ferg...

Wow, what a great bunch of fellas to say such nice things about me. I can honestly say that is was my pleasure to trade with each and every one of you great brothers. Hopefully we can do much more of that in the times to come. Never hesitate to ask if you need anything, including cigars, we can always work out something.
