It makes me sick to read on these boards the ignorant expression that the likes of Clinton was a "great" president.

George Washington was a "GREAT" president.

He was a servant to the people of the country he loved.

He lead the men of a fledgling and all volunteer army against the wealthiest, best trained, best equiped, and most powerful military machine on the earth at the time ... for seven long years.

He wintered over at Valley Forge (bitterly cold there), during war-time, in a tent with his men and officers.

He sacrificed his own personal wealth.

He sacrificed his own personal health.

In 1787, in Philadelphia he guided with clarity of thought and immeasurable wisdom the formation of a new nation dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, the existence of a supreme being, and unalienable rights for the purpose of your and my individual freedom and national unity under God.

He declined the proposition of being elavated to royality.

He decried the establishment of a "party" system in the election of a free and independant government.

To sum up the "greatness" of his presidency, he was THE ONLY unnannimous victor to the presidency. A calling that he understood was for the purpose of setting the example in order to execute the will of the people mandated by the legislation passed by Congress. He was, in short, the finest example this country will EVER see of a humble military genius and an exemplary statesman. He was a servant who well understood the nature of both man and government and their respective relationships.

Pardon my judgment of Clinton, for I only know OF him by the carefully edited writings and political correctness of a liberal-influenced media, ... but one thing Clinton was NOT, was a "great" president.

Purple Sage Rider,

I agree with you on Clinton, however, I would love to have a cigar and a beer with him! I happen to like Slick Willie and admire him for being able to capture a room full of people, not as a President!

Bubba has a magic about him that you have to admire, I guess Monica really admired his "magic" and his cigars!

if you must know genius back then i was working at a finance company and my wife had to work day shift for 2 weeks for training at her job at a casino before she went to nights. so i hired a babysitter and the Monday morning she was to start she cancelled on me.

so instead of finding a new one i chose to take a week off and my niece started the next monday. i had 3 weeks vacation scheduled and figured i could use one. now my DM and manager didn't care much for me as i had ratted my manager out for breaking some little thing called an SEC violation. so when she and DM threatened to fire me for taking unauthorized leave i pulled out the family leave act and told them to go for it if they wanted a lawsuit. they quickly backed down. BTW you might recognize the company as Citibank.

so genius before you open your trap and talk about my work ethic get some facts or do you just make them up and assume that anyone who disagrees with you must be a loser.

also anytime you wish to get together and compare W-2's or careers call me if you can count to 21 without taking all your clothes off.

lets see now charlie.....i don't recall attacking and calling snowy names or attacking your "work ethic".

however i'm sure the misspelling of my name everytime is simply a reflection of the republican spelling ability.

but if you need to attack to get your point across maybe your point is just too dull to stand on its own.

everytime you hard core republicans disagree with someone its always accompanied by some form of attack or name calling.

now how about you go act like ol king george and go smoke some top shelf weed.

Jerkyl, I'm glad to see you used your knowledge of the Family Leave Act to good effect! The misspelling of your name isn't a "Republican spelling ability" thing, it's our homage to the Truth in Advertising Act!

BTW, do you EVER post anything to do with cigars, or do you just come on here to stir up excrement?
