BC- I don't known about "enduring glory" but history has proven that the native Americans in most of Latin America interbred with the explorers, speak spanish & practice Catholicism but kept some tribal ways- just look around you- as opposed to being given the choice between annihilation or reservation (and alcoholism) as was the case here.
