Oh...I get it......since someone posted a picture of "chubby Smashie" you have to go and post a picture of yourself in running shape to make sure the internet consensus with regard to your physical condition is on par with your own........further bolstering your self granted "right" to criticize anyone who does not meet your specifications.

I'll bet you can't just walk by a puddle without stopping, eh?

Ran 2 half-marathons - haven't been crazy enough to beat myself up for a whole marathon though.

4:22 is a respectable time, man. I am working up to a 1/2 marathon in 2011...doing 5-10k runs at the moment. First race was the Hard Corps 10k run at Camp Pendleton, CA. A Bitch route over mountains. Time was 1:22.

I believe that God made man so that man could make the machine - I am quite happy with driving where I need to go. See... God was a biologist, not a mechanical engineer.

I can run a few miles if I have to... I just don't want to.

Completed 15 marathons and a few longer runs like Pike's Peak and Grand Canyon.

Now I'm old and fat and run a few miles each morning before I have a cigar.

I once walked a half-marathon. I came in somewhere in the "dead last" range. Not like I was actually trying to win. I just went there because my sister didn't want to go alone (again).

I spent most of the evening popping all of the blisters on my feet and applying bandages. I needed shoes that actually fit well. Such is life.

I have the utmost respect for marathoners, because of the training . . . I run 3-5 miles a few days a week, and that's about all I can handle without dropping dead from boredom . . . To take the time to train properly for 26 miles, requires incredible dedication . .
