Ok.......heres the situation;

You've exhausted your February and March cigar budget.

You're "enjoying" a quiet day at the local mall with your wife and child; not really looking for anything in particular.

While they are at the Gap, you stroll through the little cigar shop; the one that is always overpriced with limited selection............

and you spy these.......... for $75 for the lot of them.

Do you:

a) Pass them by, convincing yourself that Anejos are easy to come by this time of year.

b) Buy them up, then tell your wife about the great bargain you got for $75.

c) Buy one of each, leaving the rest for other POTL to follow.

d) Steak & Potatos

If you need to ditch these I'll buy them. 🙂

Yep...........what a deal. The shopkeeper said he held a box of Anejo 46s and some opus Xs back after the holidays. He just put them out a day or two before. I can't BELIEVE nobody else scarfed them all up. The cigar gods have smiled upon me this weekend!

I DO intend to keep these for my own enjoyment, with maybe a couple going out to settle a few scores I have with some traders.

Westmoreland Mall in Greensburg. Shopkeeper was very nice; he could have easily charged $30 ea for these.

I neglected to really check out the rest of the selection; I was a bit awestruck.

If he is offering up Anejo and Opus at those prices at this time, given that they are the last release, not the upcoming, then I would inquire about his Padron Anni 1964 and 1926 prices as well. Ya never know. Did he have any of the Padron 1940?

Either way, sounds like you have a pretty good local.
