The LL Reserva 1996 was in fact produced in Miami in the Summer of 1997 and was released in Spring 1998. The reason I called it 1996 Reserva is because
I bought some of the DR filler in 1996 ( it was already 3 years old ) Therefore I decided to call it Reserva 1996, LOL!

Many people still talk about that cigar. I made as many cigars as I could with the tobaccos that I had.
If I recall, it was something like 25K cigars.
